Bishock Infinite Highly Compressed

Bishock Infinite Highly Compressed

Description :

BioShock® Infinite is a first-person shooter like you’ve never seen. Just ask the judges from E3 2011, where the Irrational Games title won over 75 editorial awards, including the Game Critics Awards’ Best of Show. Set in 1912, players assume the role of former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, sent to the flying city of Columbia on a rescue mission. His target? Elizabeth, imprisoned since childhood. During their daring escape, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond — one that lets Booker augment his own abilities with her world-altering control over the environment. Together, they fight from high-speed Sky-Lines, in the streets and houses of Columbia, on giant zeppelins, and in the clouds, all while learning to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities, and immersing players in a story that is not only steeped in profound thrills and surprises, but also invests its characters with emotional ties that will continue to set the bar in gaming.
BioShock Infinite's Burial at Sea DLC is a two-part detective story in which Booker and Elizabeth, the two main protagonists of Irrational's critically acclaimed shooter, will receive their own episodes.
New details on the just-announced BioShock Infinite DLC have been delivered by way of a Eurogamer interview with Ken Levine, the Irrational Games co-founder and creative director of BioShock and BioShock Infinite.
Levine goes on to say that the assets for the Infinite version of Rapture are newly created and the city has been rendered as fully 3D structures as opposed to the 2D backdrop images used in the first BioShock title.Irrational's return to Rapture is inspired by a desire to "show Rapture when it was fully alive, but do it in the context of an interesting story... To do it in a sort of integrated way, but to tell a story we thought was important to tell with these characters as well".
"There's maybe a few objects we brought over," he said, "but really everything is new."
Changes have also been made to the gameplay, which Levine says will vary from the Booker episode to the Elizabeth episode.
"It's more stylistically and gameplay tuned like BioShock 1. Infinite generally had a lot of big, epic-scale encounters, where BioShock 1 was more about you observing splicers in their natural habitat and being able to set up combat a little more, so we've really pushed back toward that a lot."
During the interview it was also confirmed that Big Daddies will make a return, though Levine didn't say what role they'll play.
"I think people would be pretty unhappy if there were no Big Daddies. I won't say exactly how, but yes, they are involved in a certain way, and the combat will probably feel more like BioShock 1 combat, but there's a new weapon and a new vigor plasmid in each of the DLCs.
"Well, let me think - I don't want to talk too much about the third one, but certainly for the second one there's a new weapon and vigor plasmid. I think we really tried to modify the gameplay so it felt more like a Rapture experience."
Levine did not confirm when the first part of Burial at Sea will be released.
A new BioShock Infinite DLC challenge pack called 'Clash in the Clouds' has also been announced and is available to download now. The pack is "an action-focused downloadable content pack that presents players with a series of unique, intense challenges and a whole new gambit of combat opportunities."
